• Preparation of solutions for addressing capacity-related problems of the Iranian railway network according to both local- and network-based approaches
• Presentation of indices such as: attracted demand and net presented value regarding direct and indirect advantages of rail-based freight transportation
• Development of an applied algorithm to prioritize construction and improvement of the railway infrastructure projects
