Project Rationale:

In this project, data mining methods along with the recorded data collected from smart bus transit systems are put together for management and planning of the bus transit networks

Description:

• Study of upper-hand documents and bus transit facilities (e.g., fleet, personnel, etc.)
• Identification of bus transit operating indices based on the existing works and demands of the city of Isfahan
• Utilization of AFC and AVL data for calculation and analysis of the bus transit system performance indices
• Development of a software for calculation and presentation of the performance indices
• Development of a software for the fleet assignment and network scheduling
